Clarence Albert Steele Jr.'s Obituary
Obituary for Clarence Albert Steele Jr.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence (Buster) Steele, a man who touched everyone he met with a generous spirit, an open heart, and an unwavering devotion to family. He left this world on February 17, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving behind a legacy that will live on in the countless lives he lifted and the memories we hold dear.
Born in Columbus, Ohio on January 21,1955. Clarence grew up with a simple yet profound belief: kindness costs nothing and family is everything. He carried this belief into every aspect of his life, from his lifelong friendships to his work, and most of all, his home where love was always the first ingredient.
Family was his compass. He treasured moments spent with his loved ones—whether around the dinner table, on holidays, or simply in everyday routines. He showed us what it means to be present, to support one another unconditionally, and to celebrate each other’s joys and challenges. His loyalty, patience, and unwavering devotion will be remembered in every family gathering, every shared memory, and every story told about his resilience and love.
Throughout his life, Clarence demonstrated quiet strength, and a character built on integrity, humility, and generosity. He pursued his passions with enthusiasm, mentored others with kindness, and left an imprint on the community that will endure long after his departure. He loved traveling to Peru, where he met many wonderful people who became his second family.
Clarence had a big heart and a ready smile for everyone. He reminded us that a small act of generosity can make a world of difference.
He is survived by his three children: Megan Steele, Brian Steele (Fiancée Andrea Altheide) and Jessica Steele (Fiancé Anthony Barrett) He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
We find comfort in knowing that his love continues to surround us. Though he is physically absent, his warmth, generosity, and the importance he placed on family will live on in every memory we share.
With love and gratitude, The Steele Family
