Barbara Frost's Obituary
Barbara Frost, 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her Westerville, Ohio home, just three days after celebrating her birthday. Born in California, Barbara built a life centered on creativity, family, and love.
Barbara’s career was in architecture, where she dedicated her professional life to shaping spaces with vision and care. Her passion for art was a constant thread in her life. She created her own work and shared her gifts through teaching at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center, where she mentored and inspired many students.
She met her husband, Chuck, at a rally, their shared love of cars sparking the beginning of a lifelong partnership. That bond grew from the racetrack to a marriage filled with adventure, laughter, and devotion. One of her greatest joys was her son, Mateus, whom she and Chuck adopted from Brazil at the age of four. Together, they formed the family that was at the heart of everything she valued.
Barbara is survived by her husband Chuck, her son Mateus, her sister Judy, and her nieces and nephews.
Her memory will be carried forward with warmth, gratitude, and love by all who knew her.
