So sorry to hear this sad news. My heat hurts for all who loved her. I have great memories of Barbie from our time together in ADPI. She was so much fun. The life of the party and a true sister. May she Rest In Peace and live forever in our hearts and prayers.

I remember when Barbie pledged during our sorority days. She was such a breath of fresh air. Genuine, authentic, to her core. I always enjoyed late night talks with Barbie and she was so much fun to be around. I’ll remember her smiling eyes and her laugh with fondness. RIP, Sister. Loyally, Carmen
When we were in A Dee Pi together I loved playing flag football with her. She was a nut on and off the field and made everything we did more fun than anyone could imagine. She had the best smile, laugh, and all around fun attitude. I’ve missed her since she graduated UA. I’m so sad for her family to lose such a beautiful soul.
Where do I even begin. Barbie was the brightest of light. She always filled a room with love and laughter and made everyone comfortable. Barbie had her circle of friends and I had my circle of friends. Barbie had her best friend as I had my best friend but Barbie and I shared a bond like no other that very few people knew of. We would talk for hours about anything and everything. Share are secrets of which I still hold. I thought of her often through the years. May she be the guardian angel for all who loved her free spirit, kind soul, outspoken personality, and love of life. Barbie will be deeply missed!!

Barbie was the sister I always wanted and the friend I always needed. I love her endlessly and have no idea how to maneuver in this world without her larger than life personality. What a blessing she was to us and my love will never waiver for her and TJ.
As I sit here and read these tributes to the little girl I met by marrying her Uncle........I will be more than grateful for the little time we shared together, and be very sad that I wasn't more a part of her life. And I'll be thankful, that so many enriched her life, as she did their's. An amazing women, taken too soon.

This news is so sad. I worked with Barbie at Nationwide for several years where we became friends before I left Columbus and Nationwide in 2013. Here are a few of my wonderful Barbie memories which I know many friends share: cabernet with a glass of water on the side; side of crushed red-pepper; October Birthday Month; Pumpkin spice everything; her girlfriend vacation adventures; the ever-updated happy hour list; P-Kitty; the cleanse detox; the weekend boot camp workout; and Sunday-fun day. She was such a wonderful, kind woman to everyone. And I always thought that I would see her again… RIP
