Anna M. Tripp's Obituary
Anna M. Tripp passed away peacefully with her devoted daughter by her side on Friday, June 9 at the young age of 96. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria Francesca (Manzoni) Orga, born in Pittsburg, PA and raised in Pittsburg and Montevideo, Uruguay. Anna was married to the love of her life, Charles, on July 3, 1953 (who passed in Jan 2017). Anna and Charlie raised their family in Upper Arlington. For the past six years Anna lived at Friendship Village of Dublin where she made many dear friends and was loved by all that met her. She liked to socialize and was an avid card and game player. She will always be remembered as the lady with the smile on her face racing down the hallways of FV in her trusty scooter, usually in a hurry to get to some social event.
Anna is survived by two adoring children, Stan (Andrea) Tripp of Sugar Land, TX and Cindy (Don) Braun of Upper Arlington, OH.; seven grandchildren, Nick (Melissa) Braun, Lou (Kim) Braun, Riley Braun, Maria (Andy) Zuppann, Brendon (Barry) Tripp, Michael (Ashley) and Chris (Abby) Moragne; and 7 great-grandkids, Cody, Weston, Levi, Austin, Tyson, Toby and, her namesake, Anna Braun; her in-laws, Scott and Mary Tripp; and many loving nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her sister Dee Spriggs, brother Jim (Betty) Orga; in laws, Ella Jean & Ted Misiolek and John & Connie Tripp.
The family would like to thank Deacon Chris Campbell, who helped comfort her in the days before her passing; the wonderful staff, nurses and aides at Waterford in FV that treated her like family (they would come to her apartment just to see that smile and ask for advise from a wise ‘old lady’); the people at Capital City Hospice for their kind and loving care at the end of her earthly life; and the wonderful friends she had at Friendship Village but especially her dearest friends, Marilyn, Carol, Phyllis and Barbara. (and Helen and Peggy, who went before her). She lived a full life and transitioned to her heavenly Father with a smile on her face! Godspeed, Mom! Go dance, sing and play cards with the angels! See you on the other side!
There will be an ‘open house’ celebration of her life on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 10-12 in the Muirfield Room in Friendship Village of Dublin, 6000 Riverside Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
