I was startled to see that Peggy had died. She was so vibrant and happy the last time that I saw her at Canterbury Village for the memorial service for Dick Michael. I want to wish my condolences to Bob and to Jason and his family. I am sure that her loss will darken your days. I always found her very interesting and just bubbling over with information. It was always a pleasure to run into Peggy and Bob unexpectedly around Columbus.
I am a distant (British) cousin of Bob's. My grandmother was Grace Tipple. When we visited Boston in 2005 Peggy and Bob they showed as great kindness and welcome. My wife and I still have many fond memories of that trip. May she rest in peace. + And rise in glory.
Peggy and I were nursing students at St Francis School of Nursing together. Living in the school dormitory together for three years allowed us to know one another well. Peggy was dynamic and had a kindness about her. We were friends and I admired her spirit and kindnesses. It was an honor to know her and call her a friend. God bless Peggy and her family. She will be missed.
Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Peggy. My your memories heal your sorrow. I always enjoyed Peggy's sense of humor especially in nursing school at St Francis. After reading about her accomplishments, I admire her even more. She was truly a special person. You all are in the thoughts and prayers of the class of 1967.
Even in leaving this Earth, Peggy left just the right poems to console us. I have too many memories of Peg to share just one. Having known her as a nurse(we worked together), a truly great friend - she even found the perfect new friend to watch over my daughter while I returned to work! We laughed and cried at times throughout almost 50 years! I will cherish her memory and miss her, but I'll still talk to her.
