Timothy Aaron Rice Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

In loving memory of Timothy (Tim) Aaron Rice - age 43 formerly of Grove City, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, in hospice care at Kobacker House, surrounded by family. Attended Franklin Heights HIgh School. He will be remembered for his sarcasm, strong opinions, but most of all his impact as a loving son, brother and uncle. He was an all around good athlete and enjoyed all sorts of family games. He was an avid Sci-fi fan (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Stargate), and also a skilled and passionate video game player since the 80’s. Loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Pro sports and his dog Frank. Preceded in death by Grand-parents William and Ruth Humphrey, Grand-parents Dixie and Edward Baker and brother Jeffrey Stephen Rice. Survived by Mother Stephanie Humphrey-Rice, Father Jeffrey (Cathy) Rice, brothers Michael (Heather) Rice, Brett (Carissa) Rice, Eric (fiance - Joann), and sister Olivia Rice, many nieces and nephews. Cremation at Buckeye Cremation on 9/30/2021. A private gathering will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kobacker House Hospice for a memorial brick to be displayed in Tim’s honor.
