Ronald A. Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On July 13, we are saddened to say, we lost our dear and loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Ronald Allen Taylor, 78, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Ron was born June 9, 1939, in a house by the railroad tracks, in Delaware, Ohio. He was a devout Jehovah’s Witness who found comfort in his faith and believed he would be resurrected in paradise on Earth. As an Army veteran, Ron was a hardworking man who retired from PPG Industries, after 35 years of service. He loved his family very much and is survived by his wife of 55 years, Undine, his six children, Larry, Craig (Nancy) and Ronnie (Melinda) Taylor, Heather (Junior) Flournoy, Jonathan Taylor, Doris Taylor-Wood and a granddaughter he raised, Brandy (Wes) Neibarger. He was blessed with 10 more grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. He is also survived by his brother Dale (Thelma) Taylor of Florida and sister Virginia (Ernie) Wotring of Missouri. Ron is pre-deceased by both his parents Lawrence and Mary (Geary) Taylor, along with three of his siblings, brother John (Jack) Taylor, and sisters B. June (Jerry) Casto, Carolyn (Connie) Bradley. The family wants to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Delaware Court Healthcare Center and Kindred Hospice for the exceptional care and love they provided him. Ron has been cremated at his request. A memorial will be planned at a future date.
