I only knew Bob briefly, but certainly long enough to recognize him as a faithful and true ambassador for Christ. When I began searching for a new faith family after the closure of my former church, Bob was one of the very first people to welcome me at Berean Bible Church. I could always count on a friendly greeting from him at worship services. He and I became church members/covenant partners at the same time - and while we're no longer able to serve together on this side of life, I rejoice with Bob today that he's now begun both God's perfect rest and perfect work for him in eternity!
My condolences to Bob's family. I will miss his smile, conversations at our fellowsgip luncheons, and the ability to shake his hand during our meet and greet time before Sunday Services.
