Maureen and I attended St.John Central and became friends. We had a lot of fun together. Although I haven’t seen her in many years, I am not surprised that she was so active in organizations for equal rights. Maureen was always a forward thinker and I am sure she made a difference with her advocacy. I am sorry to hear of her passing.
