Namaste, I knew George as my brother's best friend--Barney,, Mark, and George were the three muskateers! But I also knew George as a philosopher...someone who takes the meanings of Life seriously. And, he did. So, my heart goes out to you and those who loved George for his own inquisitive self. It's not easy to think deeply... especially in the midst of such a superficial culture. Perhaps George saw more than most of us...and acted on what he saw in his mind's eye. Nitzche is not an easy philosopher...neither was George...probing, probing the values we take for granted. More, another time, but I hold George's family in my heart. Rev. Dr. Sally Lentz Palmer, Woodrow Wilson Fellow, 1966.
